Mini new look haul

Hello lovelies!!!

Happy Good Friday!

After having dinner with my mum we went into new look and I accidentally brought a few things (oops!)

The first thing I got was this coral colour tshirt, I thought it was really pretty and for only £5 I would be mad to say no!

The second thing I picked up was a denim skater skirt for £14.99

This is a close up if the press stud and zip at the back

The last few items I got were belts, I couldn't fit the whole of the black one on this was £3.99 and the pink owl one was in the sale for £1!

Easter chicks nail art tutorial!

Hello lovelies!!!

This is the last Easter nail art tutorial I have for you.

1. Apply a base coat then paint your nails yellow.

2. Using a striper in white ( cocktail sticks work too) draw a zig zag line about halfway down your nail then fill in the the bottom half in white.

 4. Using a dotting tool (or cocktail stick)  draw on two black eyes and an orange nose, apply a top coat and your done!

I love this design mainly because its the easiest of the three Easter designs I have done!

Easter eggs in grass nail art tutorial!

Hello lovelies!!!

Here is another really cute and easy Easter nail art tutorial!

1. Apply a base coat and paint your nails a light purple.

2. With a pale blue polish paint an egg shape on the tip of your nail (it doesn't matter if the bottom is messy as this will get covered up)

 3. Decorate your egg however you like (dots, stripes and zig zag lines are good for this)

4. Using two different shades of green paint small lines at different heights at the tip of your nails for the grass (if you don't have a thin brush cocktail sticks work just as good)

5. For extra cuteness you can add little clouds (again a cocktail stick will work)

6. Apply a tip coat and let it dry completely

Bunny Easter nail art tutorial!

Hello lovelies!!

I love Easter so much it's the perfect excuse to eat chocolate for breakfast!!
Here is a really cute, simple and very easy bunny design.

1. You must always start with a base coat to protect your nails and help the design to last longer!
2. Apply 1 or 2 coats of a pale blue polish over your nail and let it dry.

3. Using white polish create a semi circle at the tip of your nail.

 4. Add long ears using your white polish.

5. Use a pale pink and put it in the middle of the ears.

 6. Using a dotting tool (or a cocktail stick) create two brown (or black) eyes and a pink nose.

 7. Once dried add a smaller white dot in the eyes.

 8. Add a top cost and your done!

You can also change the colour of the rabbit (e.g. A brown rabbit would look really cute!)

Hello lovelies!!!

It's snowing so much outside its ridiculous ITS MARCH FOR GOODNESS SAKE!! Last night I slept with two duvets and still had numb nose and toes!!
In sat wrapped up in a fleecy onesie, fluffy blanket and the dog cringing while watching someone have their shoulder popped back in place (why I watch these shows I will never know!)
Anyway does anyone know of a good (but affordable) foundation/BB cream and powder I'm thinking about a change but not sure what to go for I have combination skin if that helps, I will be grateful for any suggestions!

Review | lush lip scrub

Hello lovelies!!

I have had lush lip scrub for a while now but wanted to give it a good try before I reviewed it.

I love this so much! I used it every other day when I first got it and after about two weeks I just used it when I needed and my lips have never looked better.
You can get it in three different flavours- bubblegum, popcorn and mint Julips (I have mint Julips)
The smell and more importantly the taste is amazing as it actually tastes like mint chochip.

How to use:
Scrub and buff your lips to softness, lick off the excess then apply lip balm

The only negative thing about this is the price as its £5.25 for just 25g which I find a bit expensive but I will definetly be repurchasing when my pot runs out!

Have you/would you try this?

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger | TAG

Hello lovelies!!

I was tagged by Hannah from Hannah Heartss to do this.

The rules:
1. You must copy and paste these 'rules' onto your post when you write it, it doesn't take long!.
2. You must state that this tag was created by 'The Beau Bow' and link www.thebeaubow.blogspot.com
3. You must thank the person who tagged you at the start of your post (link their blog as well) -follow them if you're feeling nice!, and then at the end of your post state who you tag, and then comment on their blog on their latest post to let them know you tagged them, and link your post so they can see what to do.
4. Title this post 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG' so everyone knows what it is about.
5. Have fun! :)
So that's the boring bit out of the way, and now...
Onto the questions:

1.Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
Exfoliate, I know I should but I hate doing it so its always put off!

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
I don't give them a proper clean often I normally just wipe them after use with a damp cloth.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail varnish?
The least amount of time possible!! I hate chipped nail varnish so much two days at the very most!

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it? ( I.e a new topcoat or foundation)
If I notice I'm running low I try and buy it before I run out completly.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I think it's wearing just concealer on lazy days even though I know it really obvious because its slightly darker than my skin so it can look a bit funny.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time
This is really easy and its tidying my bedroom, I love it when it's tidy but I can't ever manage to tidy it, I try and find something else to do instead!

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minuet or not?
Sometimes I leave it last minuet but most of the time I am ready a good half an hour before I have to leave.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
Yes! I hate spending money so spending bans are easy.

9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
Not organised at all makeup and nail polish are just throw in a box with no order what so ever! I am trying to organise my polishes at the moment.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a post?
May e a few days, I generally try to write a few at a time so there is a bit of a build up waiting to be published.

Miss Amazing satchel

Hello lovelies!!!

I finally managed to get my hands on a satchel and in soooo pleased!!
I got this satchel from Miss Amazing from the Miss D collection and it was £21.99, they are usually £26.99 but I got mine with a wowcher deal.

The good points-
** it's a lovely colour and had a beautiful interior
** it has magnetic fastens I no messing around with buckles
** it has 4 inside pockets (including a phone pocket and zip)
**it has a pocket on the front
** it looks great with almost anything

The bad points-
** it's about on the large side (my mum order it so I didn't know what size it would be)
**in some lights it looks a bit orangey
** it's not real leather

I do really love this bag and its a good substitute while I save up the money for a Cambridge satchel.

(Please exude the bad pictures!!)

Do you have on of these?

I have to be honest and say I didn't really know where I was going with this but really like how it turned out!
I saw this little set of mini nail polishes and I thought it was perfect  (maybe not the gold one so much!)

Review: Nails Inc feathers

Hello lovelies!!!
I was super happy when my mum surprised my by buying me the new Nails Inc feathers polish.
It's a limited edition product with pastel shade particles that gives the look of feather nails.

The shade i have is Edinburgh which is peach and pale blue, I am completely in love with this as it looks so amazing on my nails and dries quickly. As I didn't want my whole nails covered I only used one coat on top of a greeny blue colour, but you can build it up to get the full feathered effect.

I found it to be quite rough when it dried so I put a top coat on and that smoothed it out much nicer.
What really caught my attention first was the lid of the bottle as its so pretty, it has a white feathered pattern with a bird in the colour of the polish.
I can't find any faults/bad points about this product and am very tempted to buy the other colours soon!

Have you tried this yet? What do you think?
